ORBA welcomes the introduction of the Reducing Gridlock, Saving You Time Act by the Ontario government today to help tackle gridlock and make life easier for drivers. If passed, the legislation will expedite highway construction through the new Highway 413 Act, streamlining environmental assessments for Highway 413 and the extensions of Highways 410 and 427. It also allows early works near existing infrastructure with minimal environmental impact to proceed without delay.
