Waterloo city council urged to up infrastructure funding

In order to keep city infrastructure operating acceptably over the next 25 years, millions of dollars more will need to be spent annually.

According to an asset management report update presented to council last week, infrastructure expenses could amount to $20 million or more in additional costs per year to keep the city’s roads, bridges and sewers up to a standard most residents would expect.
