Register for ORBA Roundtable on Ontario’s Model for Road Maintenance Contracts
Ontario’s model for road maintenance contracts has been raised as an issue members would like ORBA to explore and provide input on. This input is timely as the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) has been directed to improve the delivery of its road maintenance contracts and is currently working on developing a new system.
ORBA members are invited to participate in a roundtable discussion on future contract models for road maintenance in Ontario. This will be a facilitated session where members get together to identify priorities and lay out the basis for a future contract model. The roundtable details:
Date: June 29, 2016
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Location: Mississauga Grand (35 Brunel Rd, Mississauga, ON)
Registration: To register for the complimentary session, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prior to the roundtable, ORBA plans to gather member input through a survey. This feedback will be shared ahead of the roundtable to form a basis for discussion.
Following this process, ORBA will use the information gathered to engage MTO in a structured discussion on the future of road maintenance contracts in Ontario.
